I only use these strings, Thomastik: SuperFlexible / Rope Core
I started using when Kenny Baker put me on to them in the early 70's.
They are the only strings he uses no matter what you read elsewhere.
I have tried other strings, but these are it for fiddling.  You have to be
careful when you order them too, I am always getting sent something
else in their place because Thomastik makes other similar strings.
